FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been one of the most heavily criticized players in a Blaugrana shirt this season. The Polish striker despite having scored 16 League goals this season, has been criticized for a variety of reasons. Fans have pointed fingers to his inability to ease into link-up play and dropping deep while ‘not needed’ as shortcomings in his performances.
His situation at the club has become so delicate that there have been rumors circulating regarding his departure. Several fans have called for the management to offload the 35-year-old and to bring in young talent. However, the No.9 has hit back against these rumors, thereby putting an end to all the commotion.
Leaving Barcà this summer is definitely not possible for me. It's not a topic. I physically feel good and today, this is the case for at least the next two years. Robert Lewandowski said in an interview to Sport BILD

He also assured that he will keep playing up until he feels his body to not be at the top level. Besides his 16 League goals, Lewandowski also netted thrice in the UCL and twice in the Supercopa de España.
Following a disappointing set of results against Paris Saint-Germain in the UCL and Real Madrid in La Liga, Barcelona finally secured an impressive win against Valencia. The Blaugrana earned a hard-fought victory against 8th placed Valencia thanks to three sublime goals from Robert Lewandowski.
Goals from Lewandowski and Fermin Lopez ensured that FC Barcelona did not lose three games back-to-back. Lopez opened the scoring for the hosts from a beautiful header as he directed a swinging cross by Raphinha. However, Barcà found themselves trailing 2-1 just 16 minutes later as the visitors scored two quick goals in succession.

Following the game, many fans emphasized Lewandowski’s importance to the squad while others dismissed it.
